Holistic Wellness Consultations, focus on creating customized plans, to address your specific health issues, and goals, and promote overall well-being. These in-depth consultations can include Nutritional Counseling, Diet Analysis, Healthy Food Choices, Nutrient Intake, Health History, Iridology & Sclerology Analysis, Muscle Response Testing, Ph Testing, Body/Mind Connection, and Life-Style Coaching. We work with the "Eating for Health" model, developed by Dr. Ed Bauman. Food plans are designed for each person's unique needs, taking into consideration, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, the seasons, aging, sensitivities, and health concerns.
We focus on nutrient rich, organic (if possible), seasonal foods, superfoods, herbs, and supplements, for optimal amounts of protein, fats, carbohydrates-macronutrients, vitamins and minerals-micronutrients, phytonutrients, flavonoids, fluids, and other important factors for health. Eating mindfully and with gratitude, allows better assimilation of nutrients, which is nourishing to the whole person; body, mind, emotions and spirit. Suggestions for Foods, Juicing, Supplements, Herbs, Flower Essences, Aromatherapy, Stress Management, and Energy Healing Modalities, can be offered to support you. "The Eating for Health" system, follows the sayings of "Food is you best medicine", and "Know thyself".
These consultations can provide support for body systems, such as, the Circulatory, Blood Sugar, Cleansing & Detoxification, Gastrointestinal, Glandular, Hormonal, Allergy & Immune, Mental Health & Aging, Muscular/Skeletal, Respiratory, Skin, Urinary Systems, Men's, Women's, and Children's Health, and Stress & Weight Management. Services are available to facilitate healing with complementary modalities, such as Intuitive Readings, Medical Intuition Assessments, Reiki, Sacred Soul Healing, Spiritual Coaching, and Shamanic Healing with Reiki.

Eating for Vitality &
Optimal Health
The Eating for Health program works with three main diet directions:

Building
Balancing
Cleansing

The most beneficial direction to begin with depends on your health status, and your unique requirements.
​
​Building Diet: Is good for people who have chronic endocrine or immune challenges, carb cravings, want to lose weight, children & teens, athletes, adults doing manual labor, and those recovering from illness or injury. It is a high protein, high fat, and limited carb diet. It includes 30% calories from protein, 30% from fat, and 40% calories from carbs.

Balancing Diet: Can be a good long term diet, for those with good metabolism, and especially good in warmer weather. It includes 20% of calories from protein, 30% of calories from fat, and 50% calories from carbs.

​Cleansing Diet: 7-14 days. Is an alkaline diet, including generous amounts of fresh fruits and vegetables, juices, fermented foods, chlorophyll rich foods, like greens and herbs. It includes 60% calories from carbs, 20% protein, and 20% calories from fats.

All of the Diet Plans use fresh, whole, nutrient dense foods, for optimal health.

Acid/Alkaline Balance

Acid/Alkaline balance is very important for proper assimilation of nutrients, and to keep the body in homeostasis balance. We can test ourselves by using litmus paper, using both urine, and saliva testing, which gives us the most information to work with. Foods are either acid, alkaline or neutral Ph. To support the highest availability of absorption, a Ph of 6.8-7.2 is ideal. There are certain minerals that only absorb within the proper Ph number value. Basically, Fruits & Vegetables are alkaline and Grains, Legumes, Nuts & Seeds, and meat are acid forming. Sugar, Alcohol, Coffee, Tea, and Soda. are highly acidic. We need a balance of around 75-80% alkaline and 20-25% acid for optimal nutrition and health.

Your body works hard at removing toxins, but toxins can build up, and cause many health issues. A detox & cleanse, can help your body to reduce it's toxic load, from your colon, kidneys, liver, lymphatic system and skin. A detox, can recharge your energy, improve digestion, help reduce inflammation, promote mental clarity, boost your immune system, enhance positive mood, help you make healthier food choices, encourage a spiritual connection, and provide an overall sense of wellness.

Gentle cleanses can be created for you; from a few days, weeks or a 30 day detox. We will design a program that fits your needs. You will be guided to prepare your body, emotions and mind, by using an eliminative diet, for a few days to begin. Then you can choose to eat a whole food detox diet, with fresh, nutrient dense foods, soups, broth, herbal teas, and green foods. And, or, use (fruit and vegetable smoothies and fresh juices), for cleansing if you desire. Your detox program can be plant-based, vegetarian, vegan, or include animal products. Supporting the channels of elimination, is a key in a successful detox program.
Herbal detox formulas, supplements, exercise, baths, skin brushing, lifestyle, and detox suggestions will be offered. In-depth cleanses, can be designed, with a focus on the digestive system & colon, liver, kidney, lymph & skin, parasites, candida, or caffeine detoxification programs. An emotional and mental detox, can be important to address, as it works with stress reduction, relaxation, reducing anxiety, changing negative thought patterns, and increasing greater inner peace, and harmony.

Holistic Weight Management focuses on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual approach to weight loss, and healthy eating. We look at key areas to support, such as calorie intake, macronutrient, micronutrient, vitamin or mineral deficiencies, metabolism, food allergies, food sensitivities, blood sugar, toxins, hormones, carb & sugar cravings, adrenal or thyroid imbalances, candida, fatigue, life experiences, exercise, physical or emotional stress, brain chemicals, relationships, self-appreciation & self-love, self-nourishment, and body image. As a holistic nutritionist, health & life coach, holistic health practitioner, hypnotherapist, and reiki practitioner, I can blend modalities to support you in any areas that you are ready to explore.
We utilize the "Healthy Eating" protocol, which is a healthy food plan for life, not just a diet. I will share the tools to help you discover the areas you can support; to choose healthy foods, appropriate portion sizes, reduce inflammation, detoxification strategies, listening to your body with intuitive eating, exercise, herbs & supplements to balance cravings, hormone balancing and nutritional deficiencies. I also offer iridology which shows your genetic inheritances, and areas of potential stress, and muscle response testing using a body scan, that helps identify body systems, organ and gland stresses, as well as for identifying foods, herbs, vitamins & minerals, amino acids, and supplements, to find what your body wants, and needs at this time.
We can also work with potential underlying emotional stress, using the healing practices of health & life coaching, reiki, inner child healing, neutralizing past experiences, forgiveness, building self-worth, transforming limiting beliefs, using positive affirmations, releasing self-judgments and self-sabotage, and cultivating self-empowerment. We will create a plan to support your nutritional requirements, and weight management goals. These can include: a health history, questionnaire, food log, herbs, supplements, vitamins & minerals, amino acid therapy, superfoods, and flower essences.
